About VOICE Trust

VOICE Trust is a respected charity in Tamil Nadu, India, registered as a non-profit since 1985.

Our mission is to empower disadvantaged groups, including women, youth, people with disabilities, those affected by natural disasters, and parentless or vulnerable children. We are committed to social justice, economic revitalization, and equal opportunity, all while focusing on environmental sustainability.

We promote sustainable organic farming practices that yield more nutritious and abundant crops. This approach helps farmers earn a steady income, supporting agribusinesses and creating healthy, happy families. Sustainable farming is also climate-resilient; it keeps pesticide toxins out of the air and water, reduces reliance on fossil fuels, and enhances biodiversity. This way, both the community and the planet benefit.

Whenever possible, we collaborate with collectives and activist groups like Women’s Self Help Groups (SHGs), Farmer’s Forums, Youth Associations, Children’s Clubs, Disabled People’s Organizations, Human Rights Groups, and Unorganized Workers’ Associations. By empowering these self-help groups, we create effective grassroots change and promote self-reliance.

VOICE Trust operates in 384 villages across the Tiruchirapalli, Perambalur, and Thanjavur Districts, and we conduct outreach programs in parts of the Ariyalur, Nagapattinam, Karur, and Ramnad Districts. We also network with organizations in all 32 Districts of Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry (Pondicherry).
