Volunteer on Site
If you’d prefer to leave home for a rewarding experience abroad, we also welcome on-site volunteers.
Assignments might include teaching in our Friendship Children’s Home, demonstrating organic farming practices, or organizing and supervising our current volunteer staff for a specific activity.
There is no better nor rewarding way to experience the cultural life of another country or region than through hands-on volunteering on-site.
We can provide training, transport, and translation services. You will need to pay for food and lodging, but we can make arrangements for them to be provided. Assignments might include teaching in our Friendship Children’s Home, demonstrating organic farming practices, or organizing and supervising our current volunteer staff for a specific activity.
If you live in Tamil Nadu, we can always use help in a variety of areas, from community outreach to delivering supplies, but are especially eager to find someone with video, photographic or interviewing experience who can visit our project sites to record and evaluate our impact.
